A Code of conduct is a set of rules outlining the norms, rules, and responsibilities or proper practices of an individual party or an organization.

MEMBERS OF THE I.C COMMITTEE

  • One chair person/Presiding officer.
  • Two members amongst the employees
  • One external member-could be doctor or lawyer.

WHAT MAKES A GOOD CODE OF CONDUCT

  • IT SHOULD FIT THE COMPANY.
  • IT SHOULD COVER THE RISK.
  • IT SHOULD REMAINS FAMILIAR TO ALL EMPLOYEES

HOW TO DEVELOP A CODE OF CONDUCT

  • Conduct a risk analysis.
  • Translate your findings into clear guidelines and instructions for your employees.
  • Guidelines should be clear, concise, and simple.
  • Make the code of conduct public.

ROLE OF IC

  • It will deal with the complaints concerning to sexual harassment.
  • The committee shall report to the MD&CEO.
  • All complaints/concerns shall be recorded and will be submitted to the audit committee.
